Coach Jackson Leaving?
Coach Jackson Leaving?
I heard a rumor that he was leaving the program. Anyone heard anything?
Crap. I laid $50 with my bookie that Falconboy would have a positive post about this thread. Someday I'll learn that Vegas always knows, dammit. Vegas always knows.Falconboy wrote:Great.

My post wasn't negative or positive in nature to renvoris' assumption. It's just "great" that we have to have another thread about somebody "supposedly" leaving the program. The rumor mill here in the men's basketball forum is getting tiresome.TG1996 wrote:Crap. I laid $50 with my bookie that Falconboy would have a positive post about this thread. Whatever dude, I'm guessing if Coach Jackson were to leave it must be over a disagreement over a particular player and maybe the punishment of a particular player for broken rules. I'm getting sick of this already. From the BG women losing players almost every year now, and all other usual crap. Can we get some damn frickin continuity around BGSU for once?renorvis wrote:Mock me if you want. I heard some whispers just hearing if anyone heard anything.
I'll guess we find out soon enough of renorvis's whisperings are based on any fact or not.

We have more continuity around here now than we have had in years. Can you come on here with some positude just once? And yes, I said positude...that would be opposite negatude.Falconboy wrote:Whatever dude, I'm guessing if Coach Jackson were to leave it must be over a disagreement over a particular player and maybe the punishment of a particular player for broken rules. I have spoken with Chris and he is as determined to play well and work hard in the offseason. He knows that him and JoJak are going to have to carry the load and from the sound of it his ready. I asked about the suspension and he couldn't comment because of obvious reasons.Globetrotter wrote:Renorvis, whats up with your inside scoop on Knight? Is BG ready for the Knight Moves?

Or a more likely scenario could be that his wife and daughter are still in New Jersey. He has a house there that he is trying to sell. His wife has a very solid job. He makes trips to Jersey to his family. Its possible that maybe they decided after the house not selling for two years, that its time to re-evaluate his status.
I have not heard that he is leaving.

I remember hearing about this situation at the team banquet, I would have brought it up in this converstation but I couldn't remember all that I heard and had a feeling someone with more knowledge about it than me would bring it up eventuallytransfer2BGSU wrote:Falconboy wrote:Whatever dude, I'm guessing if Coach Jackson were to leave it must be over a disagreement over a particular player and maybe the punishment of a particular player for broken rules. yeah i remember hearing something, wasn't sure if it was at the banquet or one of the games. But I heard that his wife has been trying to find a job out here but cannot find anything that is as good as her job in New Jersey.BGFalconfromCincy wrote:I remember hearing about this situation at the team banquet, I would have brought it up in this converstation but I couldn't remember all that I heard and had a feeling someone with more knowledge about it than me would bring it up eventuallytransfer2BGSU wrote:Falconboy wrote:Whatever dude, I'm guessing if Coach Jackson were to leave it must be over a disagreement over a particular player and maybe the punishment of a particular player for broken rules. Did you get the impression he will be "able/allowed" to play during the upcoming regular season?renorvis wrote:I have spoken with Chris and he is as determined to play well and work hard in the offseason.
