Yes, you're right. It will be very difficult to replace the production that Grave's gave us last year.Falconboy wrote:Not good at all. Now arguably our best talented scorer right out of the gate is gone. Damn, I was hoping the vicious transfer cycle had truly ended.First we lose a great assistant now a probable starter, not what we want heading into next season.
Puhhhllllease Falconboy. The dude didn't play a second of basketball in a BG uniform and you're acting like it's the end of the world.

If our "Best talented scorer" is leaving to play for a DIII Southern Baptist school in hill billy KY then we have more problems then players leaving.
We have an assistant leave to take a step up in his coaching career and a non-player decide he can't play DI Basketball. I don't think that indicates problems for the upcoming season.

Wonderful...... Well this offseason has shaped up well so far. Knight gets in trouble, Graves transfers, and we lose a coach. Yeah, seems about right for a typical offseason of hoops at BG. And the kicker is, we've got a few more months to go...I can't wait to see what else is in store for us.
GO BG!!!
What are we complaining about? Coach Jackson got a better job. Done.
Chris Knight and Graves both couldn't get their stuff together. Do you really want them on the court representing BG? This isn't toledo...

You and your insistence on supporting your ideas with facts! BAH! Go away, your kinds is not welcome here!Metz wrote:What are we complaining about? Coach Jackson got a better job. Done.

TRANSFER TRANSFERS
The hot stove league is heating up. It's tough to lament the loss of a player who never played. Losing Ron Lewis to "the farm" or Niki McCoy to Alcohol and Apaty was a loss, losing Graves to someplace in KY is no loss. The only thing that makes you wonder is "what was the boy thinkin'? Cincy to BG is about 3 hours and 182 miles last time I checked. Cincy to Williamsburg is about 195 miles. I guess close to home is relative.

From some of these posts it sounds as if its forgone that CK is gone too? Is this true? If so I guess we can chalk up next season to be in the clunker for sure. I mean where the hell are we gonna get major scoring from? Joe Jak? Marschall? OP or giraffe boy? Seriously we don't have much ammo for next season. I guess we were about to take a major down year in hopes Orr can strike gold somewhere in the recruiting circles for seasons after.
