Hold on here....
Sounds like your implying that I'm either totally lying here or that none of you even care if DD was to really cuss out our mascot. I'm getting the vibe that this is not really important at all. If DD was get hot on a player for messing up a on a certain play , thats one thing, but if he was to cuss out a mascot just for patting him on the back, somethings wrong with that picture.
And , as I said before only Frieda herself can actually verify anything here. So even though I know some of you probably use rough langauge at times , its no excuse to be not caring if something was said that was inappropiate to our own mascot by our own coach.

If Frieda was to hear DD cuss are her, do you really think it would be a good idea for her to tell you over a post on this site? Chances are if you looked up her screen name and PMed her or IMed her on AOL she would know about it faster and maybe mention it sooner. If DD really was to do such a thing, chances are she'd tell the people over her and that's it.

Fire the bastard!
It's not that I don't care as much as it is that I ...well...never mind -- I don't care. Does it surprise me that coach may have said something? Not at all. It's Dan Dakich for heaven's sake. Was it uncalled for? Who's to say.
Mascots are there to entertain the fans. Their purpose is not to run onto the field/court and high-five the players or hug coaches when the game is going on. That's a big distraction for the players, coaches, and officials, and can get you kicked out of an arena -- even the home one.
I didn't see it, but I'd guess that Frieda was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Dakich was fired up as usual (surprise). His mind was in the game, and that's where it belongs -- not worrying about a piece of SuperBubble flying in his direction.
This whole thing is no big deal. It's nice that you're offended and everything, but if I were a coach in the same situation I'd tell the bird to get lost as well.

I don't think anyone can argue that coming from a past bird himselfrollalongFF0304 wrote: This whole thing is no big deal. It's nice that you're offended and everything, but if I were a coach in the same situation I'd tell the bird to get lost as well.
