Attendance figures for BG-UT may be up ... could be actual or may be the way that phantom attendance is counted these days (even at that, nothing's come close to the +33K SRO of 1983). My point is that if college athletics exists for the students, then why put the biggest rivalry on the schedule at a time when students are off campus and back home for the holidays?

You're not kidding about phantom attendance counting. Aside from the 2008 Minnesota game, the 2005 Toledo game was the biggest, loudest crowd I've ever seen at DLP. And yet, the attendance # came out as something like 17K. Ridiculous. The very top left corner of the East side wasn't full, but that was it, everywhere else was packed.

2007 was another strange year for counting, they had the WKU game as our highest total, but the opener against Temple and the finale against Toledo (again) both had much bigger visible crowds.
24. Quality provider of the truth, for better or for worse.

OK, its settled then...Bachelor Party over at Dayons tent/VIP lounge. TG's in charge of other pertinent "logistics" for that one.
There is no other way to finish a season other than yelling at the top of your lungs among BG's players holding the Peace Pipe aloft!

BG vs. NIU was the biggest, loudest crowd I have been a part of... although I am pretty sure i was there for the UT game in 1983/84 for the attendance record, but I was to young to remember.
