Talk about the Buckeyes the Wolverines the Hilltoppers the Ducks the Beavers the Chanticleers... or anyone else who isn't BG or an opponent in this forum.

You beat me to it...had I been on here yesterday, I probably could have made this joke myself...probably

I like the new unis they've got. I think the wings look pretty cool and at least they are better than their baseball uniforms, complete with pinstripes that are the words of the school's fight song.

With all the rain they get, you can see why. Competing with the likes of USC isn't easy when you're fighting mother nature too.

Their uniforms are fugly, but they run a great program, usually always relevant in the national scene. They probably would've gone to NCs a few years ago had Dennis Dixon not crumpled his knee against Arizona in the 2nd last week of the season.

This is no new invention.

Iowa did this wings on the shoulders thing many years ago. Oregon is only 10, maybe 15 years behind. This is Tim Dwight if that tells you anything:

Oh... Miami's new Unis seem to think there is something to ULTRA tight unis on extra big shoulder pads.

I counted FOUR different helmets in the mix with those new uni's.... Can't even imagine the extra cost the helmets ALONE will involve....especially when you consider a roster of 100+ players. :roll:

Oregon doesn't pay for their uniforms. In exchange for letting Nike use the players as guinea pigs they get them free of charge.
