Toledo QB Done?
RocketDigest.com is reporting that D.J. Lenehan is no longer on the team. Possibly for breaking team rules.

Dude...you are aware you mentioned drugs and home invasions, correct? What, no brawls at keggers or outside bars a possibility?h2oville rocket wrote:Not sure, but no report of an arrest for credit card theft, credit card fraud, posession of illegal drugs, open container citations or home invasion yet-tiznow wrote:What happened? Dude- all of the above are possibilities. Maybe he even rented the gym out and took the profits for himself-just tossing out some things that he hadn't been reported as being arrested for. There were also no arrests for computer theft reported, no known allegations of stealing any police officer's guns, making a very public mess in a dorm... but any or all of those are possible. I'm just trying to help Tiznow out with his question.Redwingtom wrote:Dude...you are aware you mentioned drugs and home invasions, correct? Wow RF, that might be your best post ever. Too bad you failed to publicly acknowledge the problems with Amstutz while we all were.rocketfootball wrote:I'm sure whatever it was, if Amstutz or Brandon would have been the head coaches he would not only still be on the team, but be promoted to starter.![]()
Good thing we both got new coaches!

I disagree with that statement. While I never found it desirable to bash him and his practices.....never a good thing for a journalist to go past the line when they want to stay in good contact with the coach, however I did say it was time for him to be let go at least a month or two before it happened.Redwingtom wrote:Wow RF, that might be your best post ever. There were many times that I believe he did what was necessary in discipline, but other times I did not agree....and in those times I never defended him. Situations like this past season when a player failed a school drug test (not NCAA mandated test) and was suspended from just the first quarter. Or the other one that was disciplined by not starting the next game.....he came in on the 2nd play from scrimmage.
Other times I agree with what he did though. One thing I include in discipline though is academics. Our last semester before the new staff came in the football team had a 2.1 GPA. In the first semester of the new staff I believe it was a 3.0GPA. That is because of discipline and stricter policies.

That's OK, I never thought of you as a Rocket fan before a couple of days ago. It's better than what I used to think of you though.Redwingtom wrote:Journalist?rocketfootball wrote:I disagree with that statement.
