HAve been watching the tributes on CNN, Fox, MSNBC, ESPN and all the major networks. Plan to take a day off work to watch the memorial if I can't get tickets in person. I know that because of him I am a bigger man today.

I've bun trying to catch up with him so I can have lunch, meet and talk to him. We n'er got the chance. Sad!

Thoughts I had when I heard this today:

1) There really was an actual "Oscar Meyer"?
2) He wasn't already dead?

If his funeral procession doesn't include the Weinermobile, I'm gonna be pissed.

Such a sad day - the man's hooves and ears really had a profound impact on my life. The entire packaged meat industry suffered a huge loss with his passing. The man was truly an icon.

Nope, but, there have been three Oscars Mayer, two of whom preceded Oscar G. Mayer, Jr. in death.
