per Scout.com's Allen Trieu . . .
Grand Rapids (Kenowa Hills), MI Safety JUSTIN FORD has committed to Bowling Green.
6'1/190/4.5 . . . Says he "may grow into a LB for the Falcons." He earned an offer at camp.
Last week, he called BG "the coolest campus I've been to."
Commitment #1 is Marcus Bearum from Sterling Hts (Stevenson), MI. I don't know if that was his HS, but Kurt Gerling from the Urban/J5 days was also from Sterling Hts. Bearum is more a slot guy. 5-10/170/4.4. He blew up at the Michigan camp and received rave reviews from Michigan's Scout.com staff and apparently was the topic of at least one conversation on whether to offer him down the road.

KENOWA HILLS -- Justin Ford, who will be a senior at Kenowa Hills in the fall, verbally committed to play football for Bowling Green State University.
The 6-foot-1, 196-pound Ford started for the Knights the past two seasons, helping them earn the school's first conference title (O-K Black Conference), reach the playoffs for the first time and set an 8-2 mark.
The versatile Ford most likely will play safety for Bowling Green, but he also could eventually play linebacker.
He also plays wide receiver and running back for Kenowa Hills.

Other starting safety....Brown.....these will be two bigger losses than the CB's from this year, IMO.VDub26Falcon wrote:Awesome...sounds like the kind of guy that can help out in a number of ways! Who in the backfield are Seniors this season? I know PJ is one, but who else will we lose?
