I have family at the Blade...From what I understand guys like Ryan ate it because of seniority...union rules. Dan got turfed here and at Indiana because he sucks. I find that really interesting...a guy who displays a complete lack of class loses his dream job and winds up entirely out of coaching because he sucks.....it's almost like fate is trying to tell him that he sucks as a person too....

Flip, I'm not going to defend Dakich totally, but "he sucks as a person too" seems a bit strong... I can recall a couple of years ago, when I was trying to raise funds for the Heart Association, that he sent me a donation, completely unsolicited.... said he'd heard that I was a Falcon Fan trying to do this and hoped his donation would help a bit. Doesn't sound to me like a bad person. How he came across on the radio show is another thing entirely.

DD will go to his grave never forgiving BG. I am sure this is common in the coaching ranks but it just seems as if he finds a way to make it more public than most.
