The MAC rocking the national Blogpoll

Post by OverThePylon »

Wanted to share with all of you guys the great news regarding our conference's participation in the National BlogPoll hosted by CBS Sports.

Currently, the MAC has 3 representatives, FalconBlog, Red and Black Attack and us at Over The Pylon. OTP and RaBA are two new entrants this season.

I know there is a ton of spam right now about various MAC related sites, etc. but I hope you guys check out the sites that matter and visit those that are giving the MAC and the teams within it some love as well as providing the conference with a well laid out, pleasant, well written experience compared to some others.

For OTP, you can check out our current Top 25 and the preview links by visiting http://overthepylon.net/otp-top-25/.

For being a "MAC Blog," you sure seem to have a lot of coverage of the BCS Conferences. I'm not saying this is bad, that's your choice. Instead of doing a Top 25 in the nation, why not do rankings of the MAC teams? Best Defenses, best offenses, Top 5 RB's, QB's, WR's, LB's...make it truly all about the MAC. Just a thought.

Vdub...

We do cover the BCS conferences a bit, but unfortunately, that's the nature of college football in the offseason, as well as bringing folks into the fold for the hot issues of the day. We spend the majority of the time, team specific, to our two teams we cover, BSU and Kentucky. From there, we focus on the conferences of those two. We have yet to roll out our conference coverage for the MAC or the SEC, and during the season, aside from our weekend recap posts, we stay a bit aways from the big boys. Leave that to the team specific sites.
