Women's Soccer kicks off Friday!!!

BGSU will face Ohio State in the season opener Friday at 7:30 in Cbus. The home opener is a week later on the 28th vs Indiana State.

Coach Richards begins his 10th season (10 years already!) at the helm of the Falcons, and welcomes back a total of 19 letterwinners, including nine starters, from last year's team. Last year finished with an overall record of 12-6-4 (the fewest losses in school history) and placed fourth in the MAC with a 6-3-2 league record. BG advanced to the semifinal round of the MAC Tournament.

I can't say enough about the job Coach Richards has done at BG. He is 93-84-19 going into this season and led the Falcons to the first MAC Tournament title and NCAA Championships berth in school history in 2004. In 2005, he guided the Falcons to the first regular-season crown in BG history, along with a second-straight league tourney title and NCAA berth. His teams have played in numerous MAC Tourney Title matches. He is an outstanding coach and even better person.
