Not quite, but Michigan State has signed three separate agreements today that will give them a 3-for-1 deal with the Directional Michigans.
Central will host Dantonio and the boys in 2013, Western in 2015 and Eastern in 2018 or 2020 if they are still playing football in Ypsi by then.
Interesting idea. Article mentions how not only does guarantee money stay in state but travel by fans, dining, motels, gas, food, etc . . . stays in state as well.

Sparty to the MAC?
Re: Sparty to the MAC?
It's a cool idea. Now we just need Ohio State to set up a similar deal with the Ohio schools.
Re: Sparty to the MAC?
The Ohio State would never stoop to the level of playing at a crappy MAC stadium! (please note the sarcasm)psc2009 wrote:It's a cool idea. Now we just need Ohio State to set up a similar deal with the Ohio schools.
It's a good idea, and they may be surprised when they head into Mount Pleasant or Kalamazoo. But with the up and down of the Mac, they could be bad again by the time Sparty roles into those cities.
Re: Sparty to the MAC?
Yeah, by 2018 or 2020, EMU may be BCS busters.

Hopefully by then the BCS is, as it should be, its own division with a real playoff.
Re: Sparty to the MAC?
The ticket price for the road games for MSU will probably be priced much higher than what the MAC school normally charges. If OSU ever did this kind of move, I could easily see BG price each ticket starting at $100 and up.
