I am going to say it will take us 23 wins to make it to the tourney this year. So I am going to start counting down. 17.....

Yeah, I think we're going to have to win the MAC Tournament too. After 1997, 2000 and 2002, it's MAC Tournament title, or the NIT or bust.
I saw Bradley won again, but what the heck happened with UIC?!!! After falling to then #3 Georgia Tech by a point two weeks ago, they lost to D-II Wisconsin-Parkside last night at home! UGH!!! Also, look for Detroit to start showing major signs of improvement. They just got Brandon Cotton (Michigan State transfer) eligible after December 19th and he torched EMU for 27 points in a UD win. Cotton is a major talent, he was a McDonald's All-American for MSU and Detroit welcomed him with open arms. I'm glad we played Detroit before he could suit up.
And speaking of transfers, we play Oakland who has Iowa transfer Cortney Scott and Ball State transfer Rawle Marshall and the duo forms a great 1-2 punch. Oakland is 1-7 but has played an EXTREMELY tough schedule in its first seven games. We'll face another test up there, I hope we pass before diving into MAC play where the fun really begins!

and why would you say 23? It's not like 20 some wins has been enough before. If we won everygame from here on out except the final game of the mac tourney I would still be crossing my fingers. That's just how it is. We need to fonally get it done in that tournament.Germainefitch1 wrote:I am going to say it will take us 23 wins to make it to the tourney this year.
