Would you not at least scream if you saw a train about ready to hit a stalled car on the tracks? We have to document mistakes like this for the learning process. And dont confuse my honest evaluation of what the front office is doing with supporting BG. I think you find my record there admirable.Falconfreak90 wrote:Wow...Father Brown and CowboyJoe, you won't even give Coach Clawson a chance? What gives? Re: Excerpt mention Clawson (not good)
Umm...what the hell are you talking about? What record? You wanna talk supporting BG? OK. I've had season tix since 1996, graduated in 1990. Been a BG football fan for 25 years. Will be missing my first home game since the 1997 win over Miami (the last time we've beaten MU on our turf) because my son has games on Saturdays this year. Otherwise, I'd be at the usual 9-11 games like in the past.Father Brown wrote:Would you not at least scream if you saw a train about ready to hit a stalled car on the tracks? Don't you think you're being a tad melodramatic here? College football is hardly a life and death proposition...Father Brown wrote:Would you not at least scream if you saw a train about ready to hit a stalled car on the tracks? The learning process? I think Greg Chistopher is a lot further along in the learning process required to run a Division 1 athletic department than you are...

Do I really need to remind you again that Fulmer announced he'd be stepping down just four days before they played Wyoming? Pardon the Vols' players if they didn't have their minds 100% focused on the game that weekend for at the very least a few of the days leading up to it, if not gameday itself.cowboyjoe wrote:Playing in the tough SEC is one thing...scoring 7 points at home against Wyoming is another. I hope Clawson has learned as he has reviewed our offense over the last couple of years is to stay out of the way and let all of our returning starters on offense make the plays in the old offense...like the offense that rolled up over 500 yards of offense and over 40 points against Wyoming. Get out of the way of our offense and turn to the defense for your coaching, coach.

To fend for TG though, he makes more sense around here than several people (*ahem*osu fans*ahem*)...granted it may not be coherent but it's at least understandableTG1996 wrote:That done don't matter no how.Bleeding Orange wrote:TG went to college, and I don't think he's ever said anything in a coherent fashion.michhiker28 wrote:No horse here at all. Re: Excerpt mention Clawson (not good)
I agree, that offensive performance is not comforting and neither was scoring 13 points against Northern Illinois, also at home. They did have a new QB, but he was a redshirt junior and highly rated out of high school, thus he'd been in the program for four years so you would've liked to have seen the guy look a lot better than he did. There's lots of first year starters around the country who played better last year than Crompton.cowboyjoe wrote:Playing in the tough SEC is one thing...scoring 7 points at home against Wyoming is another.
