John Lovett's new position

I'm not sure if this has been posted anywhere yet so this may or may not be new on this board. I saw that John Lovett is now defensive coordinator at Miami (FL). Anybody who knows much about college football knows the defensive tradition and expectations at the U - let's see how our old D coordinator does. Always great to see former coaches getting really good jobs.

He'll be Miami's 4th defensive coordinator in 4 years and definitely has his work cut out for him. Randy Shannon has recruited well but it hasn't yet translated to on-field success.

Another MAC connection: their athletic director is recent Ohio University AD Kirby Hocutt.

I think it is also Lovett's 4th position in 4 years. Actually he was at his stop before BG just a few months.
