Very nice! The all-maccess broadcasts have been palatable at $7.95 a game. But since this will be direct from BCSN to B2 I expect an even better quality and since a ton of games will be broadcast an "all sports" pass should be had for a decent price.

Especially knowing you're getting an at least somewhat professional feed with hometown announcers is very comforting. It will be interesting to see what the price tag will be, but it's very appealing for us out-of-towners!

What about away games? Still available through MACcess?
Re: BGSU Sports Carried Live On The Internet
Now, that's intriguing! Unless I'm reading that wrong, it sounds like they plan to have an internet based BG-only channel. If that's the case, that would be excellent.Along with broadband broadcasting, Bowling Green and B2 Networks will also launch a broadband station that will show replays of BGSU athletic events 24 hours a day. The station is planned for launch later in the athletic year and will be free for all viewers.
edit: After looking into the cost of B2's packages for other schools, this doesn't look so hot anymore. The packages for other schools run about $30-$40 for football only, and $120-$125 for all sports. I could save money by paying BCSN $9.95 a month to watch the same programming on their website. And then I wouldn't have to pay the cost for every single month (which would have still averaged out to close to that $120 mark), only the ones in which BG is actually playing games, so it'd come out to $80-$90 instead of $120, for what I understand to be the same programming.

Cool, I'm just hoping the prices aren't too high.

Re: BGSU Sports Carried Live On The Internet
Does anyone know if this will be live for the Troy game? I'm not going to be able to make it to that game because of work, but I would like to be able to watch it, if that is possible.
On a side note, I may have a few tickets available for that game if anyone needs them. I'll have to see if my dad is planning on using them, but shoot me a PM if you are interested.

I know that it is being carried on mac-sports.com (the abovementioned All-Maccess).Bleeding Orange wrote:Does anyone know if this will be live for the Troy game? I'm not going to be able to make it to that game because of work, but I would like to be able to watch it, if that is possible.

I'll be over in Japan starting after the Troy game, Would like to be able to see BG football if possible. This definitely looks promising.

Still no single game or season pricing information for the B2 networks broadcasts. . .

Re: BGSU Sports Carried Live On The Internet
Sorry that we've been intentionally vague on the B2 Network information. It all came together late in the summer and we're still getting questions answered and didn't want to put misinformation out there. The Troy game will be broadcast on the B2 Network (click on the button on BGSUFalcons.com to get there) at a price of $7 to view. Because we currently have only two games this season on the B2 Network (Troy and Ohio), we are not doing a season pass for football, so each football game will be $7. If you have questions, send me an e-mail at [email protected].

Cool. I can completely understand wanting to make sure you have all the info. before putting anything out there.
$7 per game sounds great to me! Do we just wait until "10 minutes before the event a green box will appear" to register and pay for it?
