Well, you shall be very happy and full then! :D

Jake and I are rolling into BG between 2-2:30...we will join Grant, TG and others over at the Stroh Center ground breaking, which should be awesome. I will fire up the grill after we get settled and Jake will be doing the grilling for us. He and Josh practiced at Atwood Lake and home and I don't feel like doing it. Anyone is welcome to use the grill when we're not using it!

We'll have a few stadium brats, buffalo burgers and hot dogs. I won't be bringing a lot of food since it's jus the two of us this game but anything left over people are welcome to...unless you have falcon tattoos on your forehead. :-D

Have a few Coor's Lights as well.... :drinkers:

From the looks of most of these posts, the "usual" tailgating isn't going to happen, or at least, not as much as usual.
Assuming my friend's family crisis isn't as serious as when he called last nite, I'm planning to be at the groundbreaking, but maybe the $5 fee for stuff at Mileti isn't a bad idea...can always haul the usual stuff over to tailgate too, but if no one has a grill to use, at least we've got some food, supposedly cooked. 8-)

I wish, man. No chance for me to get off work this week, but I should be home in time to snag the B2 feed. Tough to concentrate on anything at this point other than Thursday.

I know man, I'm with ya. Can't concentrate on anything but the start of football season right now.

Thursday is going to freaking kill me knowing all of you guys are out there tailgating while I'm counting down the minutes until I can escape. I'm going to try and run out at least a few minutes early, but I can't get out in time for a true tailgate :(

Totally bummed I won't be able to make it to this game. It'll be the first Falcon football opener I've missed in the last 5 years. Even more upset I'll have to miss the Stroh groundbreaking. I'll be at the Fifth-Third Field from basically 2 - midnight. Ugh.

For a bit there I thought I was in the same boat, but today my boss asked me if I'm ready for Thursday. I told him yeah even though it would be a short one. His exact words were: "Why? its not like your working Thursday..."

Doesn't get any better than that.
Yeah right girl!

We'll think of you at the Groundbreaking.... you were a big part of getting it there in the student vote. I'll give you the stories after. There are some cool things talked about- hope they happen!

No tailgating for me....grandchildren are in! maybe some 100% applejuice and cheddar bunnies is as far as I get. Perfect! :D :D :D

Yeah I gotta miss it too ... first home game I've missed in a long time. I'll be back for some games this season but that's the price of graduating I guess. I was kinda hoping the groundbreaking for the Stroh Center would be at Homecoming so I could be there, but that's life. Should be a great day over there, sorry to miss it.

Looks like a lot of us will have to miss home games this year. I won't be able to make the Ohio game...CMU is a toss up right now...depends on Josh's game that day.
