I just came up with a brilliant nickname for Rhett Magner

I had an apostrophe. Lightning just struck my brain.

The successor to Ice Cole Magner will be....

Hey...I LIKE that!!

For some reason, that reminds me of that scene in Spinal Tap where bassist Derek Smalls reflects on his intermediary role between the fire of Nigel Tufnel and the Ice of David St Hubbins. Smalls was lukewarm water...

Cole was a catalyst for what we will be in the future. We can thank him for helping turn this program around. I still remember my (our) freshmen yr, when he took that 2 pt conversion in at NU. I was clinching my mouse looking for updates on espn's gametracker, and probably 20 minutes after it actually happened i celebrated. I played HS football, and when i got here my freshman yr it was Meyers first yr here. I never saw anything like what he was doing with our team. Cole fit right in, and It was the most exciting football i've ever watched. Cole was a HUGE part of that. I've had class with the guy, and he's just great. His bro wil have large shoes to fill, but i think we won't be dissapointed.
