How close is a scotch bonnet to a ghost pepper? Or is it the same thing maybe? I was cooking bahamian chicken the other night with scotch bonnets and they look just like grant's peppers. Boy are they hot too, had to put on rubber gloves while i was cutting them,

A scotch bonnet is in the same family as a habanero. It's freaking hot, but in terms of scoville's it's really not even close to the Jolokias. Your Scotch Bonnets were probably a few hundred thousand scoville's. The Jolokias are 850k+ Scoville's...at least twice as hot as your Scotch Bonnets.

Scary, huh?

They were hot. I'm not really a huge chili/pepper guy but I appreciate good food. The scotch's were about as high as I go.

Since it's not posted here yet, I figured I'd put it up.

Grant just posted this video of Metzger eating one of the peppers at the game last night. Looks pretty hot! Haha

You said you would bleep out the bad words!

Somehow the entire afternoon I managed to not run into to you Grant. Which is crazy cause that grey truck with the smoker in the background is mine.

Hopefully I'll manage to cross your path at the Boise game for some peppers.

I had a half-dozen or so for you. Ended up sitting in the stands munching on some of them. People gave me funny looks... not sure why... ;-)

Yeah, there was a guy sitting by me eating peppers in the stands, too. Definitely weird. :-D

That looks so incredibly stupid, so incontrovertibly retarded, that I'm finding myself just curious enough to possibly try it one day.

What in the holy hell is wrong with me?

God...just saw that someone posted this video. Karl wants me to do this again at a game he goes to. I'm not too sure about that!

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass.
