Coach Clawson sure is making all the right moves. I love how he's handling the team on and off the field.
Now if we can just educate the students (and band) on when it's appropriate to be loud.
Quiet = BG 3rd down
Loud = as the Falcons take the field
Loud = BG score
Loud = anytime the opponent has the ball
Loud = BG win
One thing at a time, right?

Very cool for him to do this! I guess he knows why Brandon was let go. I love that he is encouraging tailgating!!!

Yep, it seems like Coach Clawson is saying and doing all the right things so far. I'm impressed.
On a seperate note, can we change the "Orange Out" vs Boise St to a "Brown Out"? I mean, orange is one of Boise's colors. How is it going to intimidate them to come out to a stadium full of orange? It will feel like a home game to them.

Since we aren't painting the field blue...I'll doubt they'll think it's a home game...
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I gotta say, I think it's really cool what Boise does with their seating chart...they tell you which color to wear! I don't know if anyone else has seen that...Paul Lukas has a link to it in his most recent Uni-Watch.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Toledo is doing a "Blue out" this week versus Colorado. Think about it. How well does dark blue, or brown, show up at night?Warthog wrote:Yep, it seems like Coach Clawson is saying and doing all the right things so far. I'm impressed.

As was mentioned on MACbbs, there is a reason why Penn State does not do a "Blue out" but a "White out" for night games.

One thing I thought was pretty cool after the game Thurs. is how long the coaches and players "mingled" around the endzone area. I don't remember the team not being herded off the field more than 4 or 5 minutes after singing AZZ. Coach Clawson was still shaking hands 20 minutes later after Thursday's game.
