Sanders better not go Pro. He is good but not that good and will shine next year and help his draft status. We would have sharon and thats it.. McGrady, Hawkins and Cole are all gone.

We do have a ton of potential replacements but not one that has done anything yet. My top 5...

1. Brandon Jones
2. Derrickk Lett
3. Benjy Kennedy
4. Rhett Magner2
5. Van Johnson

This team calling the game is horrible. I think they were thinking Sanders is a senior.
They don't seem to be paying attention at all. After making a big deal of Magner on the first punt, they call the second three and out our first. There are plenty of other examples, but whatever....

Great game so far! Everything we all expected. We get to come out on offense first. Lets get a score and keep it going.

Duh. It's Mark Jones and Bob Davie. One of ESPNs worst announce teams.

It could be worse though... it could be Pam Ward and whoever her partner is these days (not sure if it's still Spielman or not).

OMG yes, that crew was horrible thats all we talked about the whole game was how bad they were.

Sanders is sweet but idk if he can go pro this year but after his senior year he should be ready!

I'll just add to the list for the people who thought those guys were horrible. One WR that you are forgetting about on that list is Keneth Brantley. He did really good in the scrimages and i think he has a big future in front of him.

Bob Davie continues to show why no one is hiring him on national television. The slow-motion monotone of his color-commentary is horrible and how can a guy who did a marginal job at ND get a gig teaching football 101 on ESPN.com Insider and expect people to pay money for it.

Sanders is a redshirt junior and I can almost guarantee he comes back for his senior year with Omar and Sharon alongside him.

Since we are officially into the offseason now . . . This is a bit early, but based on coach's comments earlier in the season and various scouting reports . . . don't be suprised to see us go four wide with Sanders, Sharon, MARQUES PARKS and COREY PARTRIDGE. Parks and Partridge bring even more speed than Magner and Hawkins and will have their work cut out for him to show their hands are comparable as well.

Z- Parks, Hutcherson, Kennedy
X- Sharon, Lett
E- Sanders, Brantley
H- Partridge, B. Jones

The sleeper could be the slightly built, but very sure handed incoming Freshman Luke Alexander from Springfield South high school in the Dayton area. His body would suggest a possibly redshirt, but he caught everything in the same zip code in the various situations I saw this year.

The projections that I've seen online suggest that R. Magner is a DB. I would think that would play into his advantage. It is a need area and he wouldn't have to constantly hear the comparisons to his brother at WR.

The Sandman has become one of our best WR's...he started slowly his FR year but man has he stepped it up!!

I think we'll be just fine in the WR dept next yr. The O Line will have holes to fill with Scotty, Andy and Andrew graduating. Time for more of the "Blocks of Granite" to step up!

I think our O-Line will be a bit inexperienced but has a chance, a chance to be a more athletic line and for the most part will have three years to play together . . .

Early projections would look something like:

LT- Rob Warren (Sr.)
LG- Patrick Watson (So.)
C- Kory Lichtensteiger (So.)
RG- Jeff Fink (Fr.)
RT- Derrick Markray (Jr.)

Edmund Massey, Andrew Stanford, Drew Nystrom, Kevin Huelsman, John Lanning and Jonathon Culp provide depth along with at least 4 confirmed signees thus far.

I think Jones, Brantlley, Partridge and Lett are the guys that they hoping will step up. I'm not sure about Hutcherson and Kennedy.

The radio team alluded to a possible extra year for Hart as a medical redshirt. I have no doubt he could get one, but I wasn't aware of his interest in doing so...any insights from Hartmom?

The Oline is a question mark, but the talent is there and Stud's influence will certainly help in thier development

I think the extra year for Hart was already discussed and Hartmom said he wasn't going to persue it.

Candidly, I don't blame him. He's been through a lot, and sometimes its time to move on. He gave more than his share to the Falcons, that's for sure.

I think the line will step right in, and I don't believe we will miss a beat when we have the ball. And, we'll have a senior-dominated defense. This is the year! Win the MAC! Win the MAC!
