Toledo beats Auburn, WMU beats Virginia Tech

Two more nice wins for the MAC with wins over the SEC and ACC. I watched Auburn in person take Top-25 Virginia down to the wire a couple weeks ago, this is a very nice win for the Rockets. UT went 2-1 in their tournament. WMU gets a win over an ACC newcomer on the road.

I think an Akron win over Dayton tonight would be another attainable "quality" win for the MAC

The WMU basketball team was stuck at Detroit on their way back to K-zoo when I was stranded there yesterday afternoon. ::Grin::

Wofford...yes Wofford..beat Auburn this year by 12 points at Auburn. Not that great of a win for Toledo as it would appear on paper.

Auburn is a roller coaster team. I watched them take Top-25 Virginia to the wire in a neutral court game in Richmond, Virginia a few weeks ago in a game they should have won but lost 89-87. They played like a Top-25 team that night. Auburn's biggest weakness is, they are very, very small up front. The guy they had playing center was 6-6, and no one on the floor for the Tigers were any taller for the entire game. They got killed off the boards and in the paint as you might imagine.
