Last night's result would suggest otherwise.

It was tough, but the better team won. Once we cut down on the mistakes, fumbles deep in our own territory and went to our strength, the running game, there was no answer. Helluva job though by your team and I was nervous throughout, but I just had a feeling that Pinkel's youngest team would endure these growing pains and pull out the victory. I'm probably done for the night unless I see something outrageous that I need to respond to. Good night.

We GAVE you two turnovers. This was a 14 point spread without those. If Mizzou would have pulled their heads out of their you know whats earlier in the half they would have covered the spread. You have a decent squad who played to their peak, a salty bunch that will do well in the MAC, but don't even pretend you are the better team lol. SCOREBOARD!--you asked for it.

Im sorry but you act as if this was a blowout. You guys scored with only 5min left in the game to take the lead. We could have very possibly gone down and scored to tie and win. The falcons played a hell of a game and in my opinion were playing harder than your tigers. Are d-line was going up against an O-line that was on average 40-50lbs bigger then them but we still stuck in there. This game could have gone either way buddy. If this game would have been played here today it would have been a totally different game but for bg to go to missouri and perform the way they did there is great. We had the stadium quiet for about 3 quarters man. By the way this game was the narrowist win that missouri has had at farout for along time. By the way i love your excuse that missouri is young now. Before you said missouri was gonna kill us and we had no chance. hmm.....?

hscoach can jabber all he wants to about Mizzou's mistakes being a factor, but had BG not faltered twice in the red zone taking FG's over TD's, we'd likely have won the game....

I think we're still the better team because we still lead the all time series...

Did you fail out of kU or something and have to go to BG? You are displaying intelligence that would make a kU fan proud. Your two red zone falters were a result of turnovers. Dwell in the past bc that is all you have lol.

I think its rather funny that missouri fans said all week how bad they were gonna murder us and now after winning by just a touchdown they think they were so much better. If we would have capitalized and scored on those two turnovers its obvious BG would be 2-0. Yes you guys "think" that you made mistakes by turning the ball over but who caused the fumbles? thats a great BG defense. Its not your qb dropping the ball off off the snap or a player just dropping the ball, NO. The one turnover at the missouri 8 yard line was due to a huge hit by the BG special teams. I believe that Missouri has a really quality team this year but for you to say that your so much better is kinda misleading. The falcons may have struggled in the last quarter but it could have very well been a win. If the falcons would have scored on that last drive at the end of the game you guys wouldnt say you dominated so much anymore. It was anyones game and you guys played great defense in second half and coach pinkel did a excellent job of coaching this one. I have no doubt in my mind you guys will take the Big 12, im rooting for you. Alot of the missouri fans on here I salute for their kind words but just like any school I have seen some pretty irrational fans thinking they whooped us and that we could have never won this game. I hope both our teams finish winning our conference's and I really hope to see Missouri playing in January, that would be sweet.

Thanks for the kind words LowryFalcon. It'd be awesome if Bowling Green won the MAC. We played Buffalo last year and Sheehan seemed every bit as good as Drew Willy. I hope Bowling Green can hold on to Clawson, he looks to be a very good choice.

ALL teams at all levels have some portion of the fan base that behaves this way. My theory is that the percentage of the fan base that behaves poorly and feels superior is some functon of the amount of recent success plus the winning tradition of the program. For example, we had to beat Nebraska 4 times in 6 years and hand out several total beat-downs before more than a very small minority of NU fans could believe that we might actually have a better team. Beating Missouri was a birthright.

My apologies (and those of most of our fans) for any Mizzou fans who badmouth your team after a tough loss in a good game.

You're kind of a dick, and it would have been stupid to go for it 4th and 11. AS it turned out, he made the right call since we got the ball back



Close game...BG is close to being very good.

You could've gotten the ball back even if you didnt convert on 4th down. You gotta at least try. On the road, you go for it. At home you play safe.
