A few months back I asked some here if anyone had any experience with kegerator conversions and decided when I could I'd but a kit to convert my old dorm fridge. After about 1 hour of Flipper-esque work with power tools and some cutting the process is done. The fridge can hold up to a 1/2 barrel keg, but for my purposes I'll probably never get anything that big.
So with that all said, any ideas for the first keg to tap?

Doesn't matter, put a keg in, chill it, drink it. While that is being consumed make a batch of home brew so it is ready when the first keg blows.

Can you get kegs of Nosferatu? That'd be my choice.
Re: My New Toy
Honestly, the keg selection is this area is pretty slim. It's mostly the college flair and the "good" beers are only available in 1/2 barrel sizes.

I settled for a 1/4 barrel of Labatt Blue. I set the CO2 to 12 PSI and the thermometer says 35 degrees. Perfect end of the work day tonight!
I had to do some final modifications (read: sawing) but I wedged it in there. My guess of being able to fit a 1/2 barrel was pretty generous. This thing can only do 1/4 and 1/6. I had to line the CO2 tank through the door which I'm not a fan of, but I'll hopefully be building a nice bar around it so it can be hidden. I'm extremely pleased with how everything turned out and would suggest it for anyone with a spare fridge.
If anyone knows of any distributors in the area that do some more tasty brews please let me know!
