Great game this weekend. I had a good time talking with many of your fans. They showed a lot of class before and after the game. They were a good group and I tried to thank as many as I could for making the trip.

Your QB was impressive. The kid showed some moxy staying in the pocket and delivering the ball the way he did.

Anyway, it was a good weekend. I was glad the Herd pullled it out in the end but your team really showed some talent. It could have gone either way.

Thank you for your comment. For the most part the fans at Marshall were very friendly and very complementary to us. It is sad that there are some of the Marshall fans very just the opposite. Of course like most places it is the bad apples in the bunch that make the most noise. Good luck to you for the remainder of your season.

To be fair, most of the Marshall reputation comes from the early MAC days when we were winning big and a few of our fans were likely a little too cocky. I am sure some of the reputation is deserved while I am also positive much of it has been inflated. I personally have never witnessed anything like some folks claim and in C-USA, we have the exact opposite reputation i.e. we are considered the most cordial of all the teams. That said there are jacka$$es at every school and we have our fair share (as demonstrated by the students chanting the other night). Regardless, it was a great game. You guys brought quite a few more fans than I anticipated and each of you that I spoke with was very polite and warm.
