From an ESPN article:
....The next to pull the trigger may be linebacker Willie Tatum (Pickerington, Ohio/Central). Tatum, who committed to Bowling Green during the summer, was also very impressed with his official visit to Minnesota.
"It was wonderful," Tatum said. "I liked it a lot. They have nice, new facilities, a nice locker room. I liked how friendly the staff, the coaches and the players were. Everybody was down to earth. I liked everything about it."
Tatum made the trip to Minnesota alone, so he wanted to go home and talk things over with his family. He plans to call the Minnesota coaches either Monday or Tuesday. When Tatum does, he will likely be a Gopher commitment.
"I'm still committed to Bowling Green," Tatum said. "But there is a pretty good chance I'll commit to Minnesota."
Willie Tatum "could" be headed elsewhere....
Re: Willie Tatum "could" be headed elsewhere....
That's the risk you take with getting early commitments from top quality MAC recruits. They may pick up late offers from BCS teams and choose them instead.
It's a risk I'm willing to take. If there is no shot of a Minnesota trying to steal our recruits, they're probably not the caliber of players we want to be recruiting.

I wonder how many recruits will be at the Boise game. Maybe an upset with students storming the field could make a few believers.

I like the fact Minnesota wants our guys as well. It looks like we've got a nice recruiting class started. I can't ever remember having this many verbals this early, or at least verbals that were publicized. I understand that the computer age makes it easier to find things out, but even the last few years I haven't noticed this many early verbals. I like what Clawson is doing.
