NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Damn you MLB Schedule Makers! Not having Baltimore come to Cleveland until the very end of the season. I am going on Friday and was hoping to get Nolan to sign a ball for me...Effin A, Cotton, Effin A!

That's a cool poster/ad/whatever form that came out in.

Unfortunately, I'm guessing the extra 20 games will clinch it for the kid from Chicago. But if Nolan was neck and neck while playing most of the year with a sore Achilles.... still a helluva year.

I mentioned this on a previous post, but I was concerned that Nolan's " late start" to the season could hurt him, and the CWS kid has some similar stats... Biggest problem IMO, is that the O's are a LOUSY team, but the W.Sox are pretty crappy too, in a lousy division. While Balt. has to play NY,Bost., TB etc. NINETEEN times each, the Sox get the Royals and the Tribe for 19... just a bit "easier" challenge?

This being said, I know and mentioned before that Nolan was considered to be a candidate for rookie of year in an article in the PD 2 weeks ago.

I've been watching the box scores each day, and Beckham is in some kind of slump...BA down into the 260"s, and I know that Nolan has better power numbers, but hasn't played for the last 3-4 games...someone mentioned an achilles problem... Is that why he's not in lineup? Last I looked, his BA was around .278 or so, which would put him ahead of Beckham in almost all categories except games playe and rbi's.

Yeah, the Orioles shut him down for the rest of the season.
