Wilfrid Laurier game

Post by rood »

It's been awhile since we've made it in for the opening canadian school exhibition game. I'm assuming since the athletic department's website isn't selling tickets for it that the game is free to everybody who walks in that day?
I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.

A game against the likes of Drew Carey, Mimi and Oswald better be free.

Do you really want to be responsible for riding Mimi out of the slot?

I wouldnt raze this group of Golden Hawks to much, they went deep into the semi finals last year, and are returning the majority of that squad, it will be no easy contest, they had no off season worries about loosing their program either. They have some tools, and our guys best not take contest lightly.

As far I know it's free. It was free last year. It would be awesome to have a big turnout!

Was really hoping to get to this one while I was in town, but the noon start with a 4pm football game could cause issues. Maybe tailgate for a bit, head over for the first period then head back to the tailgate...

I'm not happy about the 4 pm start either.... Not missing the first hockey game, so may not be bringing the camper out that weekend....

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I actually got tickets to the first Blue Jackets game of the season so I won't be making either.
