BSU fan coming from Columbus for game.

Post by brutusrn »

Wanted to know where most of the out of town team fans hang out there in BG? I've heard maybe frickers/Ziggy Zoombas/BW3. Any help would be great. Alumni of BSU, but born and raised in Springfield. My devotion lies to both OSU and BSU, but am looking forward to a great game with the falcons and a great day of tailgating with the BG fans, regardless of the weather.

As long as you don't wear anything red, you should make it out alive...maybe.

Honestly, BG has a great tailgating setup and that's where people spend their pre-game time. If you want something close then I would park at the stadium then walk across to Fricker's. The food's terrible but they have cold beer and TVs.

Thanks for the heads up....no, my wife and I will not be wearing red, only the blue and orange this weekend. We will just have to mingle throughout the day with all the fans, BG and BSU!

Stop by the AZZ tailgate area! We'd love to meet you!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Most of the AZZ group is in the parking lot east of the stadium by the interstate and hill, and our group is on the eastside of Lot L at the north end of the stadium.
Please feel free to stop by both places. We will have a flag pole with the American flag and "old" BG logo flag flying over our canopy. :-D

Not sure what the lot designations are, but here's a map that took me hours and hours of hard work:

Hahahah

Love the map and thanks for reppin' my tailgate spot, hammb!

I think you may have over-estimated the port-o-johns, however. One shitter and two trash barrels is the norm...
