Man, I'm glad you said that.... I almost forgot I took some video at the game. The voice at the end is my smart-azz commentary... ;-)

You people need to get a grip. This is America...we have the freedom to wear what we want. WTF are we going for here...a Crips/Bloods type of thing where wearing blue or red in the wrong place will get you popped? :-)

I've worn BGSU gear to Big 10 games...I'd be pissed and pretty belligerent towards anyone who dared question my wardrobe. So some people are wearing OSU gear to our games...would you feel better if they sat home the rest of NW Ohio?

Were you a student at one of those Big 10 schools when you wore your BG gear there?

The second guy showing off his IQ in the #9 jersey says "I go to school here... I know" when the lady was telling him his ticket wasn't where he wanted to sit. He's a BGSU student, going to a BGSU football game at Doyt Perry Stadium on the campus of BGSU which has been marketed for weeks as an "Orange Out" and he decides to wear an Ohio State jersey to the game (and a hat too, I might add)... I think he deserves being bashed!

Agreed, I couldn't give a crap about OSU, but everyone on here needs to get over the big school envy. We get it OSU sucks, blah, blah. They are at the game, be happy.

Sorry, but it has nothing to do with big school envy.

I had to deal with a group of drunken, belligerent OSU fans behind me shouting obscenities at a Boise fan and half of the BGSU fans in our section. They yelled OH-IO chants during the Anthem and BGSU's Alma Mater, spit at other fans, and threw things at other fans, while wearing OSU gear to a BGSU home game which was supposed to be an ORANGE out. Then they left before halftime.

Yes, I absolutely wish they would have stayed home.

OSU fans and their apologists need to get over the big school sense of entitlement.

No...wasn't smart enough to get into the University of Michigan...I'm probably still not. :-)

I think it's hard to get people to set aside whatever emotional attachments they have to form new ones. I felt at home at BGSU from the first minute I stepped on campus...I'm tied to the place on a real gut level...as are most of the people on this board. I guess I just don't see the point in bashing people for not developing the same attachment....It's like saying a girl who wouldn't go out with you is a lesbian (I've actually had friends who did that) :-)

You're taking this far deeper than what I'm thinking... it's a simple choice of a shirt. It's an Orange Out. It's not about emotional attachments or bonds. If the guy is a huge Buckeye fan, that's great... I'm glad he came to the game, but wear an orange fu**ing shirt. Root for the Buckeyes, I don't give a crap, but if you're a BGSU student and you're going to a home BGSU football game that's been billed as an Orange Out, wear some fu**ing orange.

I understand Ohio State is probably the most popular college football program in the US. I understand that people, especially around here, have been Buckeye fans since infancy. That's fine... but he made the choice to come to the game... grab an orange shirt, dude.

While I respect everyone's right to wear what they want... when the game is billed as an orange out, where some damn orange, ESPECIALLY if you're a BGSU student. This reminds me of the time I went to OSU to watch the BG/OSU game and our students were wearing OSU stuff. If you go to the school (OSU) thats one thing... if you go to BGSU and root against it, that's another. Have some pride for the school you CHOSE to attend.

*I wore white because I was on the sideline... I'll wear orange next weekend!

Well stated Grant!!!! =D>
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
