josh harris to play backup second week in a row

Post by mk455 »

clevelandbrowns.com had an article that mentioned harris playing backup once again. this time it sounds a little more like he might actually get to play.

That means new acquisition Josh Harris will be the team’s second quarterback for the second consecutive week.

“He looks like he’s starting to grasp a couple things,” Robiskie said of Harris. “Basically, the thing we’ve talked about is making sure he has the running game down so we don’t have to limit ourselves as far as the running game.

“Passing game-wise, if he can have seven or eight basic routes he can run and two or three things on third downs he can operate, we’ll be fine. We’re getting him to the point where he can have a handful or two handfuls of plays he can execute. It’d be real limited, but we’d have to call them and see if he can hit somebody. “

I really want him to play but not behind that terrible offensive line.
