I haven't brewed it yet. Don't have the $$ to buy stuff right now. Once I get back to work....The Niz wrote:BTW, Grant how is the mystery hop beer coming along????

Either way would be great man! I'm making grilled macaroni & cheese, and also going to make stuffed burgers. I'm not dead set that the burgers will be for the article, there isn't much to them. If you want to make that pork tenderloin it sounds like it would photograph well and be really good for the article! Of course it has to be ready to be photographed around 2-2:30 when Todd is there. If you can do that, it sounds good. I'd rather not contribute 2 dishes anyhow, I think they prefer it to be one dish from various participants. The Niz wrote:hammb wrote:Niz, I know you said you were doing a hamburger contest, are you going to be doing anything special with your burgers, and would you be willing to write out the recipe and provide it for a photo around 2?ZiggyZoomba wrote:Any more news on this, Brian?
We have a special way of making them. Just like Swenson's in NE Ohio. I think I'm topping them with the bacon explosion and I'm planning to whip up some home made ranch dressing. I'd be happy to write out the recipe but there isn't much to it.
I did mention this whole magazine thing to m y girlfriend and she suggested making a smoked pear stuffed pork tenderloin. If that seems like something that belongs in the article we can whip that up too.

If the exhibition game runs like any other regular game (which it should), it probably won't be done until after 2, more likely 2:30.toddpav wrote:Depends on if I'm still at the hockey game or not! It should be over around then. As soon as its done, I'll swing over. Save a spot for me car!hammb wrote:It sounds like we're going to need toddpav for the photos, if you don't mind.
Todd, is 2:00 or so okay for you to take the pictures?

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
