Snakeman is Awesome. I've seen him at almost every home and road game over the past 5 years,

Snakeman,...aka Blue, has been going to games religiously for a lot longer than that
Not sure exactly how long, but he was in Fresno for the Raisin Bowl in 91 and was in Vegas in 92 and was rarely, if ever, missing games back then either. He had the beard and the rattlesnake hat then. I wonder how long he's had that thing (the hat that is)
I saw him out at the bars a few times last summer and he never had money, but always managed to have a drink in his hand.
A friend of mine was watching the bowl game at Jeds, and when they showed him on TV, she said most everyone in the bar yelled in unison "ITS BLUE!!"

When we (the band) were going back up the stairs to our seats after halftime, people were walking down the steps at the same time, causing us to keep having to stop on the steps and wait for people to move. Snakeman started yelling at people, telling them to "Let the band through!! Get out of the way of the band!!" That made me smile.

say what you want about SnakeMan, but he does attend the games.
he passed us a couple of times on the highway in his Red Ford Ranger on the way back from Mobile. Nice truck. He was by himself.
his plates read: SNAKMAN
He has been at every away game we have been to this year.
my wife and I had the same conversation about him being an eccentric millionaire. She says he has all this money cuz he mooches beer from everyone. Maybe he is on to something.
btw McMetz811, were you awake when we passed the buses? blue jeep w/all the orange writing?
what a great time in Mobile

Snakeman is the ultimate fan. He has built a good rapport with everyone. He has to be the most popular figure amongst the BG fans, and I think that it is only appropriate that he made it on tv in the stands. I had the opportunity to talk to him a few times before and after games going around the to the tents with the cheerleading squad six and seven years ago, and I can tell you he is all BG. He was usually at the parents tent during those times, don't know which tents he hangs out in now. HOW ABOUT THEM FALCONS!!!
I didn't sleep the entire way back (too excited I guess) and saw about 6 vehicles with writing and magnets on them but I do remember the blue jeep! Be glad you made it passed the 3rd bus though...he ran 2 people off the road on the way down thereMajorFalcon92 wrote: btw McMetz811, were you awake when we passed the buses? blue jeep w/all the orange writing?
"To the optimist, the glass is half full. To the pessimist, the glass is half empty. To the project manager, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be."
Actually, my wife and I were talking to him at the alumni tent. He told us that he's been going to games for 30 years and has only missed four! Say what you will about the man, but that's pretty hardcore if you asked me. And who among us is man enough to get a falcon head tatoo on his temple? Not I, my friends, not I.able1 wrote:
