I'd also have to question the officiating. I never question officials, but I've got some pictures that say a pass interference call should have never been called and also a horse collar tackle on Geter that wasn't called. Pretty ridiculous.

But, the refs made bad calls both ways. Tough loss. It was even tougher being 5 feet away from the dropped ball(s) in the endzone at the end. Got some decent shots though. Will post em up later.

Agree on the officials, but they shouldn't have a direct impact on the game. My question is what happened to the defense? They played really well against Troy, Mizzou and Marshall, and the Boise game wasn't their fault, but they damn near allowed as many points they gave up the first 3 games today. We saw a lot of it last year, especially when the offense would stall, the defense would seem to get frustrated and give up big plays. IMO, it's ridiculous that the Falcons nearly gave up as many points to Ohio as they did against Boise.

I'm sorry...I cannot let that go unchallenged. It's bullshit to compare the play Jarrett didn't make to the crap we saw today. Jarrett had to come back on a ball that was underthrown ...like at his ankles low. Asking your TE to make that kind of an adjustment back to the ball is asking a hell of a lot..a hell of a lot more than asking your WR's to catch a fricking ball that's thrown right on the money

Agreed. We were sloppy all the way around tonight. SO MANY dropped passes. I was talking to the chains crew... they thought it was nuts how many TD's we left out on the field. Sickening.

BG looked terrible in most aspects of the game. It was a waste of a four-hour drive to even attend. A lot of season ticket holders that I never see leave early left early in the fourth quarter and it wasn't to watch the osu game. They were disgusted by the play on the field.

BG was lucky it ended up being a 7 point game because it could have been a lot worse. It looked like BG was playing with little, to no emotion and little effort. The only real bright spot I saw was Phillips was able to connect on his kicks after a few bad games. The team has looked terrible in the red zone all season and today was no different. Again penalities killed us on both sides of the ball. I'm glad next week is a road game because I'm not sure if I would drive to BG to watch this team play a third consecutive week.

It's a shame that is how most BG fans remember Jarrett. He was a good player and carried what a 4.0 in the classroom. Him catching that pass does not necessarily change the outcome of that game anyway.

I was in the ned zone at the south end-gotta go with Warthog's assessment there. BG had a couple yards to get for first-the way Sheehan was running he might have made it but the pass should have been caught. Pass was at about the two although it was nearly intercepted, then your receiver had about four chances to grab it and ended up near the back of the endzone when it finally dropped. Exciting finish for sure.

Watched the highlights on the news and it was actually damn near the ten yard line where the ball hit Barnes first. Then the OU defender tips it up at the five, and Barnes gets his hands on it again about the two or three and bobbles it about six or seven yards before falling in the end zone.

I'd like to see the coach focus a little more on his players on the field rather than 4q's of bickering with the officials. Tell them they made a bad call and then move on. No whining! No excuses! As a player how do you feel about the game when the coach spends that much time arguing with the officials? I think you start to feel like "it's not my fault".

Clawson arguing with officials had nothing to do with how the players played. Every coach in America is in the officials ear for 4 quarters.

If we had won you wouldn't have cared and thought the coaching staff was firing them up. Mountain out of a molehill.
