I thought this was a great editorial column that was published after the game.

It's about time

It's about time we get credit for all the hard work we do in the MAC. We should get a little more respect than we get now. It's happening, since we got the deal with ESPN; they see something that the masses can't vision! GO OMAR!

I thought the "on the bench stuck behind Josh Harris" comment was a bit out of line, but other than that it was a good read. Who knows...maybe he could have been better than Josh last year, but I doubt it. Having that extra year under his belt with getting backup snaps in practice and before games....as well as actually getting a little game time experience last year as well had to have gone a long way. Omar is great and may become our best, but we can't forget what Josh did for us ever.

I think the "stuck on the bench" comment is more to make his point about MAC quarterbacks rather than a knock on Josh, the coaches or anyone else.
One game at a time the message gets out. The MAC has finally destroyed the box it has been shoved into for a long time. As cold as it is here in BG this Christmas a.m. I may use chuncks of the the shattered box in my fireplace.

Peace to all.

interesting perspective...

shows how things are viewed differently in other parts of the country. i have no opinion on the matter, but don't let folks in ann arbor, columbus, east lansing or west lafayette, or the fine people in norman, boulder or lincoln read this...

"Then compare the league's top quarterbacks with those from the country's most respected league, the Southeastern Conference. "

i think this shows more than perhaps an east coast bias in sport; there may be several regional biases.
