Next week I'm going to try and get some interviews with some of the players. Is there anyone you'd like to hear from?

I'd love to hear honest answers from any of the guys on the regime change over the summer but I'm sure they know better than to do that in public.
I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.

Drew, I would like to learn about all of them. The presser was outstanding. I do not envy Coach this weekend. Going in to Minny State with the troops not being at full strength could be a bad way to start.

Thanks a lot for doing these pressers. They're all been great so far.

As for this weekend, I'm just glad these guys are serving their suspensions before the CCHA regular season and that Solway can hopefully get better before we get into the thick of the regular season. This weekend will probably be an eye opener for a lot of the freshmen, since it's technically the first time they'll play against a legitimate college team.

I think Eno and Hammond will have to stand on their heads if we're going to have a good chance. I guess anything can happen though. Who knows, maybe they'll take us lightly because they know we're short handed. If anything, it'll def. help us get ready for the first few regular season games.

Good stuff Drew, thanks a bunch for doing this, its great.
As for the players, that would be great, a meet ____________ # _________ likes, etc... that would be a nice touch, it is time but it would be nice.

I think they were setting up for the Falcon Hockey Kick Off event during this presser! A lot of loud back ground noises....I'm guessing it was the extra tables they were setting up!

Speaking of which, the Kick Off event was very nice. Well attended by a lot of long time fans. Nice to have some time to chat with the guys and especially the freshman. Dennis gave a very good speech to the fans, telling us that he promised that they would be the hardest working team and the hardest working staff in hockey...PERIOD!!

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
