Omar's short-lived record?
Omar's short-lived record?
Unless I'm missing an "eligibility asterisk" (which I highly doubt), it looks like if either Stefan LeFors at Louisville, or David Greene at Georgia throw 3 TD's or more with no picks, they'll break Omar's TD-to-INT ratio record. Incidentally, the defenses they're going up against are Boise State and Wisconsin. Hopefully they'll both have tremendous games defensively, and then forget everything they know until October.

Could be. 41-4 seems ALOT more impressive than 18-2, but only throwing 2 picks (especially in the SEC) all year is pretty good.kdog27 wrote:I thought that Jacobs record had something to so with the amount of passes he has thrown and Greene and Lefors have not thrown enough to qualify. Not sure about that though.
yeah, its a minimum of 30 TD's thrown. Whew!!!

I think Omar has earned another nickname "The Eraser" for what he's doing to the MAC record book, with two seasons yet to play!!!
