WMU Hammers Ut at the GB...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

It was 41-12 at the half and WMU won 58-26. I noticed Opelt didn't have much in the way of stats...did he get hurt?

Crazy season.

I didn't see anything more than a box score, but it looks like Opelt may have gotten hurt. There was a clean divide in the play-by-play between Opelt throwing passes and the back up.

Yeah, Opelt left the game with an injury. Saw it on the NBC24 highlights.

Hurt his shoulder again (Throwing shoulder) from the looks of it. The Freshman did a great job but it was far too late. In fact it was far too late at the minute mark of the first quarter. We are definitely Tole_o. Hiller and Nunez are scary good and they have a huge O-line. We are a good enough team to have three wins against teams that have a total of one win among them.

He injured his throwing shoulder, and he had shoulder "problems" in high school, and preseason this year. I believe he might be a chronic "dislocator".

Didn't appear dislocated but he has had shoulder injuries throughout his UT career. Hope he can come back but more importantly hope he's OK for life after football- he's had more than his share of hard knocks over the last four years.

Well if he comes back I hope he displays more accuracy than the gunmen that shot up this bar that's not too far from the UT campus. 17 shots and they didn't hit a damn thing but the wall and the door....

It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Apparantly at least one revolver was involved so more like twenty shots. The police saw twenty shots put up with no hits and immediately began searching for Ty Kent as their prime suspect.
