$5? Pssh. They should just let people get into the hockey game free after having gone to the football game. Now that'd be a deal. Sure they'd lose a small bit of revenue, but not having to pay is a HUGE incentive to come to a game which you otherwise might not have gone to. And it'd only be a one-shot deal, so if it didn't succeed in increasing attendance amiably, then you never have to do it again.BGDrew wrote:Just received this from the athletic department:

I just hope that the family weekend jinx doesn't extend to the hockey rink.

We still have a hockey team? Is it a club sport now?

Look, you're probably going to say I'm just picking on you here, and maybe I am, but you're really going to complain about them not giving a big enough discount on a hockey ticket? Are you serious?bgsufalcon24 wrote:$5? Pssh. They should just let people get into the hockey game free after having gone to the football game. Now that'd be a deal. As someone who has graduated and who would be taking advantage of that discount if I didn't have to work anyway, I'm going to be grateful that the BGSU athletic department is trying to give people a break on ticket costs while still ensuring they earn some money on tickets for the game, instead of complaining because it isn't free.

The way things are going, the club team could beat the varsity...Warthog wrote:We still have a hockey team? Is it a club sport now?
