Buffalo seemed to play us like Troy did earlier this year. Very effective offensively in the first half, then going to a heavy run load in the second half. We tackled MUCH better in the second half and their run game was pretty ineffective.

Actually tackling the Buffalo ball carriers was by far the best halftime adjustment.

I WILL TAKE THE WIN OBVIOUSLY, BUT WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING TO GET THIS TEAM PREPARED FOR THE FIRST 45 MINUTES OF EVERYGAME AND NOT JUST THE 4TH QUARTER!

I'm glad that we got the win tonight, but I'm sure Turner Gill would take the win in '08 versus '09. Their win got them to the MAC title game. Our keeps us with a decent shot at a bowl game and a very small shot at the MAC East title. I would trade tonight's win for a win last year in a heartbeat.

I don't have a time machine and the rear view mirror is out in the truck.. I'll take tonight's win and look forward to next week.

Yeah he really was...it's not usual that you hear announcers repeatedly saying "WHY AREN'T THEY THROWING HIM THE BALL?!"

Nevertheless, GREAT win tonight. Tyler came through when he really needed too. I swear I don't think he ever gets nervous no matter what the situation. 7-5 season is most definitely possible...as long as we move our last two games to the road.

Tyler looked terrible, constantly under or over throwing receivers. If we lost tonight I wanted to see some of the up and comers get a shot to get their feet wet the rest of this year, but now I have to suffer through him for a few more weeks.

I am happy they won don't get me wrong, and I am pulling for them to make some hay this season. I love this school and this team. Hoping Freddy goes ape sh*t and has 24 next game to make up for this down one.

Wow did I drink a lot tonight.

What an ugly, sloppy, beautiful win! I'm not going to rehash what everyone else has said. Just glad to see us win.

The only thing I want to ask is if anyone else thought the Referee bore a striking resemblance to our own beloved webmaster? How could Grant throw so many flags against the Falcons?

I just went to ubfan.com to look at their thread for the game and they are way more negative than we are...those guys are ripping their team in two quite a lot and it's interesting to see they were angry there weren't more holding penalties. They also fail to acknowledge the blatant hit on geter on that punt return.

I'd much rather be over here.

Also of note, as one of their fans said, "I dont even know what to say right now. We are officially getting a taste of our own medicine from last year. And it sucks."

Seriously? That was one of the most blatant fouls I think I've ever seen. You could hear a lot of the fans there reacting as soon as it happened. More than a few audible "oooh's" over the TV.
