The OMAR stiff arm club....

Post by Falconfreak90 »

I've watched the GMAC Bowl about 3 or 4 times now and every time I see this play I get chills thinking how that poor Memphis DB got bodyslammed by Omar.

3rd quarter, about 8 min or so left. BG up 35-28 and driving. Omar takes off scrambling and before being forced outta bounds, stiff arms this Memphis DB and the DB slams to the ground. The BG sidelines went nutz with Burkes and Parks the first to get to Omar.

Watch it slowly....ya gotta feel for that DB. OUCH! Omar is one strong dude.

Yeah, I remember that play, and while I watched it the other night as I went to bed, I had to wake up and rewind to watch it again. Dude got planted. :D

My desktop is the photo where Omar is stiff arming the Turdledo LB. This LB never knew what hit him. Omar is a beast!

That's cool...so is mine...I used an editor to turn mine into a cartoon style picture and I think it is pretty cool looking this way.

I watched that replay the other night too...and you can hear the whole bench scream when he decked the guy...cripe, he took the guy completely off both feet with one arm!!!

Do you have an actual time that this play happened? I was trying to find something like this in my tape of the game, and had no luck. Thanks a lot, Jeff

I believe it was with about 4:00 minutes left in the third quarter.

Certainly. I am a former official of the Nigerian government and am actually looking for someone to help me get $14 million USD out of the country. If you could supply your bank account information, I'm sure we can make this a smooth transaction. :P
