So...how about that win over Miami?

Post by TG1996 »

Nothing like beating a rival that has had our number for the last 70 years to stir up talk of which running back sucks and who can't kick straight!!!!

Beat Akron!!!

I love the people that post a jillion threads pointing out every single negative aspect of each loss but are nowhere to be found after a win. WTF is up with that? This team is beginning to jell and we seem to be a little slow to realize that.

Didn't get to see the game since it wasn't on TV and I had parent-teacher conferences, but I did listen on the radio. We played okay, at best in the first half, but really seemed to drop the hammer in the 2nd! Hopefully we don't let off the throttle next week against the Zippers!

This should be in the I hate thread... I hate when someone has something positive to say.

But was it positive? Or is it negative about those who post negative things?

Wrap your head around that one for awhile. :-D

Yeah, but if out quarterback could read downfield coverages it would have been 70-14. ...or something along those lines.

If the officials could just plain read it would have been 42-14.

It's always, always, always great to beat Miami. I'm hoping that Clawson will have Miami's number and we can see some reverse-whammy for a decade or so!

And, yeah, how about some optimisim and positive vibes? It seems that things are finally starting to come together, we've got a player in the national spotlight and despite a coaching transition, we are in position to finish with a winning record. Seems like a lot to be excited about, IMO.

Strongly agree on all points. :D LOVE beating Miami and it would be awesome to see the mo swing BG's favor for a while. Finishing 7-5 would be a very good year, all things considered, and I'd certainly be a happy camper.

Even 6 wins is a positive first year. Hell, even if we get stuck at 5 it's not the end of the world. We've seen some very positive signs that this staff is an in-game step up from their predecessors. Recruiting and program management are still way too early to make a call on, but early signs point towards a positive there as well.
