Hey, who will be joining us at the Akron game?
Hey, who will be joining us at the Akron game?
Thanks to my unbelievable wife (and with the assistance of a particular Falcon fan), it looks like Noah & I will be packing up the Suburban Assault Vehicle and returning to the Doyt to see the Akron game!
I know the gametime s*cks out loud, but we're hoping to see some familiar faces.
Let the roll call begin!

GREAT TO HEAR!!!!!
I should be at the game, but probably not more than a minute before kickoff...ugh. The time of this game is an absolute JOKE!
Still, awesome that you're able to make it out for a game Karl!

At least this year's 5:30pm Friday game will be televised, unlike last year's monstrosity against Buffalo.hammb wrote:GREAT TO HEAR!!!!!

And yeah, definitely won't be making this one.

'87!!!!!!! I didnt think anyone had any of those EM-50 Projects for vehicles anymore.
There will be at least 2 of us (the usual suspects) if not the whole Swoop entourage. We will be setting up in the shadow of the southend scoreboard with the grailer (its a grill, its a trailer, its a grailer, and its tailgate approved. See margaritaville.com). Its easier to walk in and out at halftime to "glove up". If not there you can usually find us in Section 9 Row 1 goalline of south end, or on the field when we emerge victorious!

There is no other way to finish a season other than yelling at the top of your lungs among BG's players holding the Peace Pipe aloft!

Fortunately, This will be my game in the President's box...part of reason I was making my 50yd line seats available for anyone interested ( they still ARE available)...As it turns out, my wife will NOT be able to get off work, so I'm bringing along 2 bro in laws in her stead... One has seen BG play (against CMU), the other has NEVER seen us play, so I'm hoping for a good, solid performance from the Falcons.
GO BG!!!!

I'll be rolling in close to kickoff as well. You think that there will be any extra seats in your section in which I could sit?oaklane2 wrote:I will be there, but obviously I will be cutting this one close to kickoff.

I'm trying to decide whether to take this one in or head up to AA for the hockey game.

I might have two of my tickets available for your use also as my wife and at least youngest son are not going to this game. I will PM you later this week FWF.

I know tailgating will be, at best, limited, but what are the odds of getting some AZZers together for a few beverages at a local establishment after the game?

I was hoping to make it to the UT game but it ain't gonna happen. And it really sucks to not see it on ESPNU, either.

As I've mentioned before, my two tix on the 50, West side, Sect. 13, row 23, are also available, with plenty of AZZer's around to keep you company.oaklane2 wrote:I am sure there will be seats available in my section.FortWayneFalcon wrote:I'll be rolling in close to kickoff as well. Re: Hey, who will be joining us at the Akron game?
As of right now, I think I am actually going to make this game!!! I had not planned to be able to attend at all but it looks like I'll be able to get one more football game in this year, and hopefully I'll be going over .500 for the year! And my Fiancee, an Akron grad Student, will also be with me...I could use a couple tix, 61!
I like your seats!!!

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
