Omar Jacobs

Post by falconman »

So, how did Omar look last night? Is this kid going to be the real deal? It seems like some of the hype on Omar has died down recently. Remember Omar was just as highly touted coming out of high school as AT. I personally think that AT has a long way to go, but thats just from doing some research. I defintely think Omar should be the starting QB for the next three years. Just something to throw out their, is it possible to greyshirt AT, that would give him three years of playing time if he is up to the task.

Grayshirt implies that they are walking on for their first season. If he signed a LOI this is not a possibility. A Grayshirt is nothing more than a handshake deal between player & coach, and the coach doesn't have to come through with a scholly in the future. I have to believe that if AT wouldn't have a scholly here this year he would be somewhere else right now. Grayshirting is out of the question.
