University of Georgia Mascot Uga VII passed away due to a heart ailment

Two Georgia Tech grads were at the Georgia-Georgia Tech game when one of them spotted UGA on the sideline licking himself.

The first GT grad said, "I wish I could do that."

The second GT grad said, "No you don't. That dog would bite you!"

Bulldogs are like that- life expectancy is pretty short. Cute buggers, though.

Uga is a really cool tradition at Georgia. My big bro in my fraternity was at Georgia as a grad student when Uga VI passed away. He said classes were canceled. The funeral procession for the little dog was on local TV, and he said campus felt as if the President of the United States had just died. R.I.P. Uga.
