Sad to see us losing control of this game. I still believe our heavy reliance on outside shooting is dooming us this game.

Gotta clamp down on D big time and work the ball inside. LP and Nurse need to start driving and go to the foul line.

Too bad we have made I think 14 3 Pointer's this game. That is our ammo. Live or Die by the three

It has been our MO but I don't like it. We need to be more of a complete all around team that can go inside when needed.

Final Score:

BG 65
Marist 70

Marist ourscores BG by 15 points with FalconBoy listening to the game. Think we need to ban FB from listening to the games  ITS ALL HIS FAULT. I also blame myself telling him how to listen to the game

Marist wins 70-65. Very disappointing to lose after having a lead in the 1st half. If we don't develop an inside game we're going to have a long season perhaps. I dont' know if we can 3pt shoot our way to a 6th straight Mac season championship.

This is really a bad loss for us. This is a loss that will HAUNT BG come March. To be up by 15 pts in the first half and to lose....not good at all.

Maybe we have set higher expectations for this team than what they truly are. No inside game will make BG lose games. Case closed.

Most of our losses over the past few years are due to the lack of inside game.

Time to step it up. There is absolutely NO room to lose games like this when you are a mid major...UNLESS you win the conf tourney in which we have not been able to do the past 2 years b/c of lack of inside game.

Chill out people! We're 3 games into the season. Curt has said he toughened up the non conference schedule to prepare us for the conference season. Last year our achilles heel was our schedule. Remember last year when we lost 2 games in a row, what happened next? We may lose more in the non conference season this year. So What? The concept is to make us better and tougher for the MAC season. I have every confidence in the coaching staff and the team. They will get everything together and have another good season.

The LONG trip (by bus) to Marist didn't help any. Let's see what the future brings. Let's all get to as many games as possible and wear orange. Be ready to cheer positively for the Falcons all this season.

And on the positive side this game may haunt our team until March by providing a learning experience from which they will springboard into the rest of the season. The expectation is to get better as the season progresses and this is just proof that there is room to grow.

Please stay seated on the bandwagon folks. It will may be a bumpy ride but it still has tons of potential to finish nicely.
