Did anyone happen to see the looks on the OSU faithful when Iowa ran that kick back and then tied the score after that lucky deflection reception? They were all crapping in their drawers with looks of "hey, we're the ones supposed to be getting the lucky breaks!"

Big Ten is perceived to be a crappy conference because they don't play the exciting offensive football that other conferences play. But when it comes down to it (with the exception of last year) the Big Ten beats the SEC teams, Big Twelve teams, ACC teams and of course the mid majors in their Bowl games.

One of the Big Ten's worst teams nearly defeated one of the PAC ten's top half teams.

They usually only get one shot at the PAC 10 every bowl season that I can think of.

Your crappy team in a worse conference got dominated by that so called crappy big ten.

Huh? Last I checked you were 4-11 in bowl games the last two years. Even if you want to excuse last year (which is incredibly convenient. "Oh, we're just as good as they are, if you don't count the years when we suck against them!"), the Big Ten was still 3-5 in bowl games the year before last. Which is still a losing record no matter how you try to spin it.

Winning the watered down, weak BIg Ten is nothing to write home about. Every time OSU steps outside the conf and plays a real team, they get a beat down. I hope they match up with Oregon or Oregon State in the Rose Bowl...

The Big Ten is lucky to be the 4th or 5th best conf in college ball.

Name a good team a Big Ten team beat this season out of conference. I can't think of one. OSU couldn't even take care of USC at home, and this is the worst USC team in almost a decade. It will be interesting to see what a PAC ten team that actually has a good offense does to them.

Don't get me wrong, I grew up watching the big ten I am a big ten fan, but the conference is falling fast. The perception of how bad the conference has been blown out of proportion the last few years but I don't think the conference is nearly as good as the SEC.

Maybe if Iowa, Wisconsin, and Penn State would actually go play somebody worth a damn they could shut a lot of people up. That's my opinion. Penn State plays Bama next year at least. Iowa and Wisconsin never play anyone out of conference that will garner the conference some respect. Michigan could at least claim to have ND on their schedule but it is irrelevant now as both programs stink.

I didn't choose to sit out all year and wait until it was "safe" to come back.

I like doing the work myself. It may take longer..but it is cheaper and I enjoy it. Plus the bathroom needed it. The previous owners had pink, black and cream swirled plastic tiles on the walls and pink/green/white laminate flooring.

I did hire out the installation of all of my windows though...That is one thing I didn't want to teach myself how to do.
