FWIW, I like the 1981-2003 design. Looks better from the stands and on TV. I also think the school should have a throwback day, a la the NFL, when the teams can wear alternate or throwback jerseys. I think it would be cool for the Falcons to pick one home game every year to wear the brown unis. Nifty marketing ploy, too.[/quote]

I like that idea. i think that would be pretty sweet

Every time I see that brown jersey it makes me wish even more that we would wear them every now and again. I think it's a great look.

I think a Brown helmet would look neat with a thick Falconhead on it, like Dayon's picture up above (except Brown instead of black). I would also like to see the guys break out Brown jerseys for special games, like when Notre Dame would wear their green jerseys for big games instead of blue. As for the logo on the helmet, I say stick with the traditional logo. Everyone recognizes it, and recognition is good for BGSU. It does appear to stand out better with the white center. From the stands, it is sometimes hard to see the logo the way it is now. Maybe they just need to make it thicker. I did like what they did with the new uniforms. Those really grew on me.

Just try to imagine Omar in that jersey with brown pants and the orange sharktooth strip up the leg...

I think my head may explode from excitement if I try to do it again... :D

Brown helmets would look stupid.

The "white" falcon, like the one that graces the pages of AZZ, is the best. I think we have one of the coolest and most unique logos in college sports, I don't know why we'd want to change it in favor of the new "retail" logo. I think the retail logo is fine for peripheral clothing - but for official univesity athletics, we should stick with the traditional falcon.

Schade brown hemets would be bad. I think this years logo could be darker and thicker , bold so you could really see it.

I recreated a few of the known variations to see what they look like. Obviously, the middle one is the current helmet.

Leather is brown. Maybe we could slap a logo on something like that.

I agree. I like that jersey exponentially better than the one they wear now.

You know... that retail mark doesn't show up as well on the helmet as I thought it would.

Maybe the solution is just to make the logo we have a bit thicker.

It seems like it was thicker on the old design.
