Two comments from the article that seem to highlight the "wait until we're caught and then fix it" mentality of the current OSU program.

Dukes is the fifth Ohio State player arrested this year, the 15th in Tressel's four years. That doesn't count Lydell Ross' version of "Strip Ohio," when he was caught using counterfeit scrip at a "gentleman's club."

Robert Reynolds choked Wisconsin quarterback Jim Sorgi on the field and "Minimum Jim" gave him a one-game suspension.

It's a good read. This OSU fan is starting to get real sick of the type of crap that is going on down there, despite Tressel's record on the field.

I can only imagine how those with some actual tie to the university beyond fandom must feel. I'd be very embarrassed if this sort of thing were happening at BG...luckily I can feel safe in knowing it will not be an issue.

In all fairness to Ross...didn't the paper money he was using turn out to be valid...just a little outdated versus the current money they were using?

Come to think of it. Wasn't it counterfeit strip club coupons he tried to use, Ttat may or may not have been valid? Either way, he was suspended for something like two games, right? I guess that's worse that chocking someone.

Just another reason that I'm glad I follow the Falcons. It saves me from a lot of discussions with Noah about why certain players aren't playing. :?

TG:

Yeah, I'm perfectly comfortable explaining that Raishun Stover is taking some time off the team for academics ... heck, I could even explain the Leninger thing, but ...

Does anyone else see the irony in getting caught using counterfeit coupons in a strip club? Chances are, there wasn't a real breast within 1500 feet of the place...

Not that there's anything wrong with that.....

Wow....Livingston nailed that puppy. There was a column in the Akron Beacon Journal calling for Geiger to resign last week. But that worries me that Paul Krebs would most likely be a very strong candidate for the job.

Again, I hope OK State kicks the crap outta them tonight.

Excuse me, while I go PUKE!!!

Post by Falcon Fanatic »

The Baker allegations came on top of more bad news when sexual imposition charges were filed against redshirt freshman Albert Dukes in Florida, his home state, for an incident involving a 12-year-old girl.

::puke:: Breaking team rules is one thing, but this is TRULY sickening to the core.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."
~~USCHO Poster
"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

ross didnt counterfit anythng... he had older paper money that you buy from the strip club and then use it inside the club. he had some left over and when he went back to use it, the strip club had already changed the look of the money they issued and he didn't know about it obviously. it was legit, just outdated. he did nothing wrong.
