According to our wonderful Channel Surfing site the BG - UT game will be aired. Once before it said BG - OU game would be on and it was Lehigh so take it for what its worth but it is worth a try.
Also something I was thinking. For the past several years we have been playing this game while students are on break. Why can't we play this game at the beginning of the year or in the middle of the year. OU - Texas play their rivalry game in the middle of the year. Florida State - Miami rivalry game is at the beginning of the year. Why can't we play this game in October????

Re: Channel Surfing????
Or how about we move it to the Tuesday or Wednesday before Thanksgiving? I swear it was like that one year.

It was on a Tuesday night about 5 years ago. However you would need a bye week before that and I don't think the MAC likes scheduling BYE weeks that late into the season, however, they bend there back over for ESPN for games that are then taken off of TV.

I see the BGSU band on the field and it is 1:58, so it looks as if this game will be online!!!

Re: Channel Surfing????
Texas and OU get their rivalry scheduled in the middle of the season, but they also get their biggest instate rivalry scheduled at the end of the season. Texas plays Texas A&M the last week of the season (and I had the pleasure to witness it first hand last night, more on that later). And OU gets Oklahoma State at the end of the season. I don't have a problem with this game being the week of Thanksgiving, or really on Friday for that matter. It happens at home once every two years. We aren't competing with any of the big ten teams that people might be choosing to stay home to watch instead of our Falcons. Most students that want to come out and watch the game either don't live that far away, live off campus and can stay at their apartments and party the weekend away at the bars, and most of the students that live on campus know someone that lives off campus and they could stay with them. I just wish it was on national tv of somesort, but that is what I get for moving so far away. Thank God for channelsurfing.net.
